there is no magic wand for the blues tone
as has been stated in here before, most of it is in your....
personal life experiences,
your practice
your ears
mostly it's in your hands
The Boss, and/or the Ibanez Tube Screamer are the best way to get that tube "overdriven sound", and low volume.
These are NOT fuzz pedals, they are designed to help give your amp the sound of natural Tube Overdrive amp, without blowing the doors off.
Some also use chorus, phasers, compressors, echo/delay, wah, etc
